Escape to Calm Surroundings

Posted on Aug 03, 2009 under Kohala Coast Resorts |

The Shores at Waikoloa is a Soothing Big Island Vacation Retreat.

Tucked within the Beach Golf Course through a gated entry off Waikoloa Beach Drive is the 11-acre Shores at Waikoloa condominium complex.  Here, two- and three-story buildings with garden courtyards blend gracefully with a vibrant plant life, waterfalls and several ponds.  It is common for first-time Shores vacationers to find themselves ”hooked,” refusing to stay anywhere else on future Big Island visits.

The Shores consists of eleven buildings made up of duplexes, fourplexes, and three-story towers for a total of 120 units.   The one- and two-bedroom condominiums and two- and three-bedroom golf villas are solidly built with attractive architectural features such as dining nooks, solarium windows, atriums, oversized bathtubs and large closets, depending on the model.

Living rooms are luxuriously spacious and open with an abundance of windows.  Master bathrooms are roomy with a separate bathtub and shower and double vanities.  All condos feature the standard conveniences of a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, air conditioning and ceiling fans. Expansive covered lanais offer an ideal outdoor-living setting and access to broad ranging ocean, mountain or fairway views.   Ground floor units each have their own barbeque.
